School Break Feeding Programs

School Break Feeding Programs

We are providing food for children in the King William Area during the summer and scheduled breaks such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break.  During the year 2017, we provided 3,840 meals to approximately 100 children during the summer and 40 baskets that included holiday meal supplies as well as breakfast/lunch packs during the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

2018 SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM                   Summer Distribution Dates

Crossroads Mission Center, in partnership with Quinn Rivers, is providing a food distribution program for children in King William County from June 16 – August 25. This is important when children are out of school and do not have access to good nutrition. We are asking organizations in the community to set up a collection box for items for “2-Day Bag” food donations. 2-Day bags provide 4 meals for 2 days for 1 child.

List of Needed Items

When the box gets full—give us a call at 804-769-2139 or send an email: crossroadsmissioncenter@gmail.com.

Collections begin April 15.
